In the palace built in 1935 by Giuseppe Vaccaro a small disused attic has been rethought as attic. A new apartment located on top of the building in compliance with all dimensional and structural constraints of the project.
The final structural design has been edited in collaboration with eng. Vanni Mazzoni. The first phase of the project required the replacement and/or reinforcement of the trusses to support the existing ceiling with metal profiles. Subsequently to the reinforcement of the current top of the trusses were positioned new metal uprights and finally made the new openings to create the transverse passages.
The finishing materials such as solid wood parquet flooring and paintings on the walls and beams give continuity to a fluid space and undivided.

Nel palazzo realizzato nel 1935 da Giuseppe Vaccaro un piccolo sottotetto in disuso viene ripensato come attico. Un nuovo appartamento collocato sulla sommità dell’edificio rispettando tutti i vincoli dimensionali e strutturali del progetto.
Il progetto strutturale definitivo è stato curato in collaborazione con l’ing. Vanni Mazzoni. La prima fase del progetto ha richiesto la sostituzione e/o il rinforzo delle capriate a sostegno del controsoffitto esistente con profili metallici. Successivamente al rinforzo del corrente superiore delle capriate sono stati posizionati nuovi montanti metallici ed infine realizzate le nuove aperture per creare i passaggi trasversali.
I materiali di finitura quali il pavimento in parquet massello e le pitture delle pareti e delle travi danno continuità ad uno spazio fluido e continuo
